Privacy Policy for Learning Logic
Learning Logic is an educational app that teaches children logical thinking through circuit and coding puzzles. This policy explains what information the app handles.
The short version: we do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Everything stays on your device.
Information the app stores (on your device only)
Learning Logic saves the following information in the app's private storage on your device, so that progress is not lost between play sessions:
- Game progress: completed lessons, stars earned, in-game currency ("Volts"), cosmetic items earned or equipped, and saved puzzle solutions.
- Profiles: if you create player profiles, the profile name, color, and icon chosen. Profile names are chosen by you or your child and are only ever displayed inside the app on your device.
- App settings: preferences such as sound, reduce motion, and reading assistance options.
This information never leaves the device. The app has no accounts, no login, no cloud sync, and no server of ours to send anything to. We (Cardinal Logic Engineering LLC) never see it.
What the app does NOT do
- No personal information is collected or transmitted.
- No advertising of any kind, and no advertising SDKs.
- No analytics or tracking of any kind.
- No third-party data sharing (there is nothing to share).
- No accounts, sign-ins, or social features.
- No links a child can tap that leave the app for the open web.
- No camera, microphone, location, or contacts access.
Text-to-speech
Some parts of the app can read text aloud for early readers. This uses your device's built-in text-to-speech service (provided by the device's operating system, for example Google or Samsung speech services on Android, or Apple speech on iOS). The app hands the lesson text to that system service for reading aloud. Depending on the voice installed on your device, the operating system's speech service may process that text according to its own privacy policy. The text sent for reading is always the app's own lesson content, never personal information.
Children's privacy
Learning Logic is designed for children and is built to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families policies by not collecting personal information from anyone, children included. Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is no personal information for us to access, use, or delete on any server.
Deleting your data
All app data lives on your device. You can delete it at any time by:
- deleting an individual profile inside the app (a parent-gated action that erases that profile's saved data), or
- uninstalling the app, which removes all stored data.
In-app purchases
The current version of Learning Logic contains no in-app purchases. If a future version adds an optional, parent-gated purchase, this policy and the store listing will be updated before that version is released. Learning content will never be behind a purchase.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date. Because the app collects nothing, changes are expected to be rare and minor.
